Safety Guidance
Find My Pack helps members contact each other, but does not verify every user, driver, passenger or event organiser. You remain responsible for deciding whether an arrangement is suitable for you.
Before meeting someone
- Speak through Find My Pack before sharing personal contact details.
- Check that the arrangement, destination and expected costs are clear.
- Tell a trusted person where you are going, who you are meeting and when you expect to return.
- Arrange an initial meeting in a public place where possible.
- Do not share your home address or sensitive information unless you feel comfortable.
Travelling safely
- Confirm the vehicle and driver before entering.
- Wear a seat belt and do not travel in an unsafe or overcrowded vehicle.
- Drivers must be properly licensed, insured and fit to drive.
- Never travel with a driver who appears affected by alcohol, drugs, exhaustion or illness.
- Leave the situation if anything feels wrong.
Payments and contributions
Agree any reasonable contribution towards fuel or travel costs before the journey. Be cautious of unexpected payment requests or pressure to transfer money.
Blocking and reporting
You can block another member from the conversation menu. Blocking prevents further contact and hides that member's active lift posts.
Use the Report User option for harassment, spam, inappropriate behaviour or safety concerns. Reports are reviewed by Find My Pack administrators.
Immediate danger
If you or somebody else is in immediate danger, call 999. Find My Pack reporting is not an emergency service.
